SFMOMA Artist Gallery
As an extension of eight exhibitions each year at its main gallery in Fort Mason, SFMOMA Artists Gallery’s “Windows Program” uses the SFMOMA Garage street-level windows located 147 Minna Street for some of the area’s most ambitious artists to transform these everyday spaces into compelling exhibitions available for viewing 24/7.
In this upcoming installment, Oakland artist John Felix Arnold III incorporates 3 new large mixed media paintings from his on-going series, “In Memory Of,” that presents the soul-searching and screeching journey of mankind in a pre and post-apocalyptic world. Artist’s reception at 111 Minna from 5pm – 7pm, will feature an art performance by John Felix Arnold III, and music by special guests.

To celebrate the opening of a new art installation by artist John Felix Arnold III in the SFMOMA Gallery Windows at the SFMOMA garage on Minna St, there will be an artist reception featuring a live performance by John Felix Arnold III and special musical guests June 8th from 5 to 7pm.
